Students or families can utilize this resource, along with the Self-Monitoring Chart, to take their own data during sessions or at home. Some families put it on the fridge so children can mark each time they hear themselves use good sounds at home. The log comes with a key for students to personalize. For example, one student drew a happy face for "Just right," a neutral face for "Okay" and a frown for "Can do better". This form is organized into 150 blocks. Students may use this chart while practicing syllables (pre-practice) or during mixed practice (syllables, words, phrases, sentences, conversation).
