The Protocol for the Evaluation of English Phonotactics (shorter version called the "Little PEEP") allows SLPs to fully characterize each child's sound system in English. The probe is accompanied by a manual (which includes a word list) and two transcription forms. Ideally, the words on these probes should remain untreated in order to demonstrate change over time.

After administering this probe, professionals can utilize the Phonological Assessment and Treatment Target Selection analysis form to choose treatment targets that will result in global changes.

Please note that the Little PEEP and manual are very large files and will take some time to download. By downloading the linked materials, you agree not to distribute them or use them for any purpose other than personal use. All works are copyrighted by Dr. Jessica Barlow, Ph.D.
